Where Peace Corps Finds Its Volunteers
Coming soon to a developing country near you: students from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. The institution produced 142 graduates who became Peace Corps volunteers in 2003, the most of any college or university. UW-Madison has turned out 2,601 corps members since 1961, second only to the University of California at Berkeley, which boasts 3,173 alumni members since the corps' founding.
