When Students Are Mothers

To the Editor:

Thank you for Elizabeth F. Farrell's piece on the issues faced by student mothers at small colleges, including the story of Vanessa Elise Jimenez; her daughter, Belyn; and their experiences at Wellesley College ("A Pregnant Cause," The Chronicle, May 26). This is clearly an important problem that colleges such as Wellesley need to face head-on.
