When Policies Against Discrimination Clash With Religious Freedom
To the Editor:
It would seem to be fairly well settled now, with the recent Supreme Court decision in Southworth, that institutions of higher education that receive federal funding must act in a nondiscriminatory manner when distributing student funds ("A Christian Fellowship's Ban on Gay Leaders Splits 2 Campuses," May 12). Tufts University and Middlebury College fall under the same legal imperative if they are receiving and disbursing any federal student
