When Free Speech Is Offensive
To the Editor:
I read with great interest the article about the adjunct professor who sent an angry e-mail message to her students ("Seton Hall Adjunct Professor Lashes Out at Students in E-Mail Message," March 14).
I was bothered by a statement attributed to the chairman of the Seton Hall communication department, Peter Reader, in the article. He was quoted as saying: "I am an advocate of free speech and believe that we have the freedom to express our opinion as long as it is
