I was very disappointed by both The Chronicle and Wendy M. Williams ("Women in Academe, and the Men Who Derail Them," The Review, July 20). The headline of her essay ... impugns the male partners of female academics who alter their career trajectories as the culprits in the women's self-sabotage.
