What Special Treatment Should Students With Learning Disabilities Get?
To the Editor:
Wendy M. Williams and Stephen J. Ceci fail to grasp how much harder than others those of us with learning disabilities have to work ... ("Accommodating Learning Disabilities Can Bestow Unfair Advantages," Opinion, August 6). The student who needs extra time to comprehend written material, for example, presumably also had to take extra time and make an extra effort to complete assigned readings for the class and to study for the exam.
