What Ohio U. Learned From a Major IT Crisis

For the past two years, as president of Ohio University, I have focused attention on helping my institution recover from a major security breach. I have spoken openly about our problems — how we dealt with them, and where we are today — on many occasions. People often thank me: They're just glad I'm the one talking, and not them. And that's OK. My hope has been that others will learn from our experience.
