What Catholic Doctrine Says About Non-Catholics

If I were a Jewish professor at a Catholic university and had the impression that my employers believed that I was going to burn in hell because I was not a Christian, I, too, would be disturbed. However, unlike Bonnie J. Morris ("Non-Catholic Professors at Jesuit Institutions," Letters to the Editor, June 1), I would spend at least a little time exploring the possibility that my impression was the result of a misunderstanding of Catholic doctrine brought about,
