Wharton School Sets a Campaign Record
The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School announced last week that its seven-year fund-raising effort has raised $445.8-million, a total that is believed to be the highest ever for a business school in a fund-raising drive.
The campaign succeeded by casting a wide net, campaign officials said. To engage Wharton's 77,000 alumni, the school held fund-raising events in 50 cities across four continents over the past two years. The school received a total of 23,161 gifts, including
