Western Civ Rises Again
A scholarly center dedicated to the study of "freedom, democracy, and capitalism" that had been stalled at Hamilton College is now a go.
Plans for the Alexander Hamilton Center for the Study of Western Civilization were scuttled last year over what the college called a "lack of consensus about institutional oversight."
As a compromise, the center will now be housed off campus and will operate independently of the college.
