Critics were quick to pile on when plagiarism scandals last week hit a Harvard University sophomore and the chief executive of the Raytheon Corporation (The Chronicle, April 24, April 25, and April 28), but according to a Southern Methodist University psychologist, everyone is a potential plagiarist, so we should be wary of casting stones.
