We Don't Serve Your Kind

In the vast and dry rangelands of Australia, wild animals eye with greed the artificial water holes and feeders farmers build for their livestock. Now, to keep scroungers out, researchers at the University of Queensland and the University of Southern Queensland have built a device that can tell cattle from pests — and deny the latter access to precious water and food.

The invention consists of a set of fences that make the animals pass single file in front of a video camera.
