Wave of Indecision

As Tulane U. struggles with the cost of sports, officials weigh the unthinkable

Chris Scelfo has on every football coach's off-season uniform: Golf shirt, Bermuda shorts, deck shoes.

But Tulane University's head coach doesn't have a golf game this morning, despite the dearth of clouds in the sky and temperatures in the 90s. Instead, he's competing in air-conditioned boardrooms and banquet halls to sell tickets and save his team.
