Watergate-Era Hotel to Become George Washington U. Dormitory

George Washington University is converting a former hotel across the street from the Watergate complex into a residence hall.
Room 723 in the old Howard Johnson hotel served as a monitoring location for members of President Nixon's re-election team during the burglary of the Democratic national headquarters in 1972. The room, which has been decorated with copies of letters,
