Washington People
Samir Abu-Ghazaleh, a gynecologic oncologist at the Avera Cancer Institute, in Sioux Falls, S.D., and a former associate professor of medicine at the University of South Dakota, has been appointed by President Clinton to the National Cancer Advisory Board.
Nina M. Archabal, director and historic-preservation officer for the Minnesota Historical Society, has been nominated by President Clinton to be a member of the National Council on the Humanities.
