Want to Switch? How to Land a Teaching Job at a 4-Year College
Faculty members who begin their careers at two-year colleges may think the grass is greener on the other side — that is, at four-year institutions. And in many ways, it is. But expect a struggle to get there. Difficult? Yes. Impossible? No. Perhaps my story will be instructive to those who want to move to four-year institutions, and also to administrators who are in a position to hire them.
