Wake Forest U. Receives 'Perpetual' Gift From Foundation
Wake Forest University has gotten a gift for the ages.
The Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation pledged this month to perpetually donate 3 percent of its annual income to the university.
The arrangement is unusual, says Laura G. Forman, a spokeswoman for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. "It's a very creative way to honor a long-standing relationship," she says.
