Voters in Maine, Ohio, and Texas Approve Bonds for Higher Education
Voters in Maine, Ohio, and Texas last week approved plans to issue bonds to help higher education. Meanwhile, in Washington State, voters mandated that all future tax increases be approved by the electorate -- a requirement that some college officials fear may endanger future appropriations.
