Volume of Electronic Applications Soars in Britain
The number of students applying online to British universities more than doubled this year, according to the central clearinghouse that handles all university applications in Britain.
The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service announced last month that one-quarter of potential university students submitted their applications electronically.
