Visa Flap Renews Calls for INS Database
Reports that a Florida flight school received forms last week from the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service stating that the agency had approved student visas for two men who hijacked airplanes on September 11 highlight the importance of speeding up efforts to improve screening and monitoring of visa applicants, college lobbyists said.
