Virginia Tech to Give Tablet PC's to Engineering Students
Virginia Tech's engineering school will welcome its freshmen this fall by giving each of them a shiny new tablet PC.
And students will be required to use the machines, especially in introductory courses.
The distribution of the Fujitsu LifeBook machines, of course, means more work for professors. They will have to attend training sessions this summer so they will be prepared to use the computers in classroom presentations.
