Virginia Tech Starts a $1-Billion Campaign, Counting Memorial Donations Toward the Goal
Virginia Tech announced a $1-billion fund-raising campaign on Saturday night at an event that had been scheduled for last spring but was postponed because of the campus shootings on April 16—and officials said that donations collected in a memorial fund for the victims are being counted toward the campaign total.
