An investigation conducted recently by the General Accountability Office exposed fraud and deception by some recruiters and admissions officers working for for-profit colleges. At a Senate hearing on Wednesday, Gregory D. Kutz, who led the operation, played clips that showed recruiters encouraging fictional students to falsify their financial-aid forms and providing misleading information about their colleges’ costs and graduates’ earning potential.

I just have to say this. The sound of that charlatan "admissions supervisor" sleazebag tearing up the guy's admissions application EVEN AS HE WAS ATTEMPTING TO EXPLAIN HIS CONCERNS AND DO THE RESPONSIBLE THING, is absolutely appalling. The feds had bettr do something about this---and quickly.
