Veterans Get Hands-On Training in the Art of Entrepreneurship
College Station, Tex.
As an Army-trained sniper in Iraq and Afghanistan, John Reed was accustomed to facing formidable challenges head-on. Still, when it came time to present a business plan to a team of professors and advisers here at Texas A&M University, he felt shaky and longed to be back on his Texas ranch. It is the one place where he feels at peace.
