Vanderbilt Lures 2 Scientists From U. of Kansas; Arizona State U. Presidential Field Narrows to 2

RESEARCHERS HEAD SOUTH: Dealing a blow to the University of Kansas' attempt to move up the ranks of public research institutions, two nationally recognized scientists are leaving the university's medical center for Vanderbilt University.
