Va. Lawmakers Seek to Lower Book Costs

Virginia lawmakers have overwhelmingly approved a bill that requires public colleges to adopt policies calling for professors and campus bookstores to take steps to lower students' textbook costs. The state's House of Delegates unanimously passed the measure last week, two days after it sailed through the Senate on a 38-to-2 vote.
