Update on Billion-Dollar Campaigns at 28 Universities
The 28 American universities that are seeking to raise at least $1-billion collected a total of $525.6-million in gifts and pledges during the last month for which they had data available.
The campaign with the largest gain in the last month was Cornell University, with $74-million.
The California Institute of Technology has finished tallying its campaign numbers, coming in at $24-million over the $1.4-billion goal of its five-year campaign.
