Update on Billion-Dollar Campaigns at 33 Universities
The 33 American universities that are seeking to raise at least $1-billion collected a total of $387.5-million in gifts and pledges during the last month for which they had data available.
The campaign with the largest gain in the last month was Brown University, with $52.9-million.
The University of Notre Dame made the second-largest gain in the last month, with $43.7-million raised. The campaign, which continues until 2011, has surpassed its $1.5-billion goal
