Update on Billion-Dollar Campaigns at 29 Universities
The 29 American universities that are seeking to raise at least $1-billion collected a total of $601.9-million in gifts and pledges during the last month for which they had data available.
The campaign that saw the largest gain in the last month was New York University, with $163.2-million.
Emory University announced in September the public phase of its $1.6-billion campaign, which it hopes to complete by 2012. The campaign, which began in 2005, is over halfway
