Update on Actions of Regional Accrediting Groups

Regional accrediting bodies have taken the following actions:

Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Higher Education

Gallaudet University, in Washington, a private institution that specializes in the education of deaf and hard-of-hearing students

Action: Placed on probation

Issue: The university was out of compliance with eight of 14 standards, including those for mission, planning, governance, campus
