Update on Accreditation Actions Taken by Regional Organizations

Regional accrediting bodies took the following actions during the last two months:

Southern Association of Colleges and Schools

Bishop State Community College, a historically black two-year public institution in Mobile, Ala.

Action: Placed on probation for six months

Issue: The accreditor cited violation of several standards, including those covering the integrity of student records, governance and administration, and
