University's Slide in Global Rankings Draws Rebuke from Malaysia's Leader
Malaysia is one country that takes its academic rating by a newspaper very seriously.
After the University of Malaya dropped from 89th to 169th in The Times Higher Education Supplement's worldwide rankings of universities, released last month, the country's prime minister ordered the university to investigate why it dropped and take the "necessary action to rectify it."
