University of Phoenix Begins Advertising Blitz
The University of Phoenix Online has spent more than $1-million in recent months on a national television-advertising campaign to try to lure students to its online classrooms. The advertisements -- which are heavy on special effects -- depict students being beamed from dull classroom settings to the comfort of their own wired homes.
