Two university presidents will play small roles in the funeral services for President Gerald R. Ford, who died on Tuesday at the age of 93. According to an official funeral schedule released by the Defense Department’s Joint Force Headquarters for the National Capital Region, the presidents of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and Yale University will place wreaths at Mr. Ford’s casket during a brief service on Tuesday at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Mr. Ford received his undergraduate degree from Michigan and his law degree from Yale. The presidents of those universities are, respectively, Mary Sue Coleman and Richard C. Levin.
