Universities Attacked in Gaza; West Bank Professor Kidnapped
Recent clashes between Palestinian factions in Gaza included an attack on the Hamas-affiliated Islamic University of Gaza by rival Fatah loyalists. As many as five people were killed, none of whom were associated with the university, according to Fatah and Hamas spokespeople.
In addition, Fatah militants kidnapped a professor on the West Bank.
Over all, at least 27 people were killed, dozens were kidnapped, and more than 200 were reported wounded in Gaza.
