Unionized Resident Assistants and UMass Will Begin Collective Bargaining
The University of Massachusetts at Amherst has agreed to begin contract negotiations with its resident assistants, who have formed the nation's first union of undergraduate students.
In an agreement announced late last month, UMass and Local 2322 of the United Automobile Workers, which represents the RA's, will begin collective bargaining this fall.
