Union Wins Graduate-Student Election at U. of California at Berkeley
Unionization was on the table last week at the University of California at Berkeley.
A union seeking to represent graduate employees was successful, winning an election by a vote of 833 to 293.
The victory by the Association of Graduate Student Employees, an affiliate of the United Auto Workers, followed a successful election last month by a union affiliate at the university's Los Angeles
