Union Objects to Suspension of Librarian
A University of California System clerical union has filed a grievance with the University of California at Los Angeles on behalf of a university library assistant who was suspended last month for sending out a mass e-mail message that criticized U.S. foreign policy in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks.
