Unconstructive Efforts to Fight Unions
To the Editor:
Scott Smallwood's article on anti-union student groups showed me yet again what I already knew -- that these groups have no positive vision for change in the university ("Union? No Thanks.," May 17). However, Lennart Erickson seems to have found a personal solution to the uncertainties of the academic labor market: position yourself for a lucrative career in union busting. It is a field that, unfortunately, never seems to be lacking in job opportunities.
