Unabomber Sues to Block Government's Auction of His Papers

Theodore J. Kaczynski, who is serving a life sentence for the deaths and injuries to academics and others that he caused as the Unabomber, is embroiled in a legal dispute over the fate of his prolific writings, The New York Times reports. Mr. Kaczynski, who was captured a decade ago after an 18-year string of bombings and pleaded guilty to them in 1998, wants to reclaim his papers, including drafts of an anti-technology tract that led to his unmasking. The federal government wants to auction off some of the documents in order to provide restitution to some of his victims and their survivors.
