U.S. Visa-Policy Changes Intended to Enhance Security and Make Visitors Feel Welcome
The U.S. Departments of State and Homeland Security have jointly announced several changes in visa policy designed to make foreign visitors feel more welcome, while enhancing border security.
The changes are based on the integration of new technologies into a comprehensive computerized border-security system, as well as a program to create a more welcoming environment at airports.
The project includes several measures intended to ease difficulties encountered by foreign students
