U.S. Suspends Human-Subject Research at Virginia Commonwealth U.
Federal regulators have ordered Virginia Commonwealth University to halt about 1,000 research trials involving human subjects, saying that the university had provided insufficient oversight to ensure participants' safety and informed consent.
