U.S. Student and Companion Killed in Costa Rica

One current and one former Antioch College student, both women, were found shot to death last week near a beach town on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. The current student was in the country completing an assignment under the college's Cooperative Education Program.

College officials identified the victims as Emily Howell, a second-year student from Lexington, Ky., and Emily Eagen, of Ann Arbor, Mich., who withdrew from Antioch last August.
