'U.S. News' Plan for Mobile College-Counseling Service Gets Off to a Rocky Start
U.S. News & World Report, whose annual college rankings are a perennial source of controversy, is considering a new college vehicle in which a 48-foot tractor-trailer full of computers would travel to high schools throughout the nation offering admissions and financial-aid advice to students.
But the proposed "National College Tour" had a collision of sorts in October, when it was tested here before high-school guidance counselors at the annual meeting of the National Association
