U.S. House Approves More Funds for NEH
The House of Representatives approved legislation last week that would offer a small increase in spending for the National Endowment for the Humanities in the 2003 fiscal year. College lobbyists had been pessimistic that the agency would receive any increase in funds, given tight constraints on domestic spending.
