UCLA Sets Campaign Record
The University of California at Los Angeles collected $3.05-billion in private donations during a fund-raising campaign that spanned a decade, the institution's officials have announced.
It is the largest amount raised during a single campaign in higher education and surpasses the previous record, held by the University of Southern California, which raised $2.85-billion in a fund drive that ended in 2002.
