UCLA Plans Online Encyclopedia of Egyptology
PYRAMID SCHEME: The University of California at Los Angeles unveiled plans last week for what appears to be the world's first online, peer-reviewed encyclopedia devoted to ancient Egypt. The UCLA Encyclopedia of Egypt, which in April won a $325,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, will include material in Arabic as well as English.
