If made-for-TV movies teach anything, it is this: Old men make great lawyers. Perry Mason, Ben Matlock, J. Alexander Cota.
Cota? The 74-year-old retired real-estate agent has been fighting since 1952 for re-admission to the law school at the University of California at Los Angeles, which he claims ousted him unfairly.
Mr. Cota did study at UCLA's law school in 1951-52, but he was kicked out, the university says, for low grades.
