UC-Berkeley's Choice for Journalism Dean to Stay at Ithaca College; Bush Taps Harvard Law Professor for Vatican Ambassadorship
CONTRARY TO PREVIOUS REPORTS: Budding reporters at the University of California at Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism may be suffering from whiplash. This month they learned that Dianne Lynch, who was set to become their new dean in January, is not coming after all.
Ms. Lynch, dean of the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, was named dean of the Berkeley school this summer. But she has decided to remain at Ithaca.
