U. of Wyoming May Drop Graduate Program in Physics

Physics programs usually have to worry about graduate-student enrollment, but that's no longer a concern at the University of Wyoming. The institution has placed a moratorium on graduate admissions in physics and astronomy, and says it may drop the program entirely.

The decision, which was approved this summer, was the most controversial piece of the university's new academic plan.
